I have several websites with lots of content that were attracting lots of traffic over the years (some pages from 1999). I created WordPress sites into which to move the existing content. Customizing the sites is coming along; the important thing is to get the content moved. in ITC298 SEO I encountered an issue where I needed to remedy the lost traffic because of the changing URL. Redirecting HTML pages to Wordpress pages requires modifying the .htaccess file for the site, and here's how I did it.
