0504	Ryan Air terminal, Stansted, England	After being wanded, inspected and poked at by security (the perils of having a lead-shot bottom) Chuck is dead tired, too tired to crawl out of his suitcase, even for coffee.	A "return me to" card and international postage, a small pin that says "Not to Scale" that Susan got him at the Victoria and Albert museum in London
0504	Paris, France	Leslie shows Chuck the river Seine out the window of the Batobus water taxi. The handbag is an oversized European model from Italy, more in keeping with fashion. Matching luggage to one's self is out of style right now.	Chuck's matching green bag is stowed in the new Euro bag.
0506	Phoenix, Arizona	Chuck and Leslie are visiting with Dad	Chuck has a button that says "rotten kid" in his bag. It was originally Leslie's but she said Chuck should have it.
0506	Kokopeli on front door, Phoenix, Arizona	Mom and Dad's house is guarded by a scary dancing guy with a flute for a nose. He finally let us in after Leslie rang the door bell.
0609	Aboard "Sea Goose" a Jenneau 34, out of Bellingham, Washington	Inspecting the marine head after Leslie learned to unplug and operate it. It's shiny.	Chuck carries a small compass in his bag for sailing.
0610	Rock and Roll museum, Cleveland, Ohio	Chuck and Leslie were nearly arrested here. Nearby Browns stadium had a bomb scare that day, and everyone was under scrutiny. A guard interrogated Leslie about what she was doing. "Is it like that GNOME?" the guard asked, pointing at Chuck suspiciously.	Chuck carries a small Halloween sized candy bar as well as his probable offspring Chuck, Chuck and Brenda (confetti cacti brought to him by Kay Archer)
0610	Cleveland Public Market, Cleveland, Ohio	John and Leslie are having hotdogs and sodas on the balcony above the market, like John used to do with his dad when he was a kid. There were other people doing that as well.	Chuck has a swizzle stick from the bar of a swanky downtown Cleveland hotel, and a kleenex. The kleenex is for Leslie.
0707	Campground, Machias, Maine	Most expensive (and worth it) campsite ever, with a view and a beach and solitude. Chuck, atop the tent, awaits the full moon.	Chuck has a few saltines in his bag, which was a big mistake. Chipmunks.
0707	Acadia Park, Maine	Chuck had so much fun with Captain Steve that he came up to Acadia Park to look for ships like the Grace Bailey.	Chuck carries a rock and a pinecone.
0707	Winterlude ice sculpture park, Ottawa, Ontario	John and Leslie pose with Chuck at an ice sculputure. This was a difficult environment for an inflatable cactus; there was shrinkage in the cold, and perilous over-inflation when we went into a warm Starbucks. We nearly lost him that day.	The bag is on the ground but there's a coaster from the bar at Chateau Laurier.
0707	Camden, Maine	Guest crew on the Maine windjammer Grace Bailey. When he wasn't holding down charts for Captain Steve, he stood watch in the life ring. Chuck was proud to be his own flotation device.	A "return me to" address card, a picture booth photo with five tipsy girl architects at a company party, a small tube of Kalles caviar from Sweden.
1004	Mom's condo, Bigfork, Montana	Farming in Montana, Chuck style. The paper flower is from a cafe dessert in Morlaix, France, and the pot of grass is from Target.	Wallpaper sample from the wall, name tag from a 50th anniversary party where he was mistaken for a centerpiece.
1007	San Francisco, Top of the Mark	Having cocktails with Clark Pickett at Top of the Mark. They strategize their visit to the "Little Giant" fire hydrant near Dolores Park.	Cherries and orange peel for the road.
